The pair later wrote the script for the film throughout an entire year, with production beginning in 2018 and Youngran Nho serving as animating director. The rest of season three revolves around the two covering that murder up, and of course, a lot of couples therapy. However, instead of talking to Joe about it, Love removes Natalie as a threat by killing her. As anyone feels when they find out they’ve been cheated on, Love was angry. In the very first episode, Joe starts having an affair with her. Natalie Engler, whom Michaela McManus plays, is Joe and Loves’ next store neighbor at their new house. The two quickly fall into old patterns leading to Love dying at the hands of her husband. Joe and Love move again to start over, as a family this time. After killing Candace and another character, Delilah, she confesses that she is pregnant. As the season moves forward, and Joe’s obsession grows, the audience realizes that she is just as twisted. Love Quinn, played by Victoria Pedretti, meets Joe when he moves to LA and starts working at a book cafe in season 2. In season two it becomes clear that she survived his brutal attack, her one goal is to warn Joe’s new obsession, Love, and come forward to the police, but Love ends up killing Candace. Joe “killed” her when he found out she was going to leave him for another man. In season one she appeared in several flashbacks. When Joe figures out she knows how dark he is, he traps and eventually kills her. He stalks her till he knows everything about her and eventually the two get romantically involved which quickly goes downhill once Beck realizes Joe is not the nice guy she picked him out to be.
